Here’s hoping for the next one out to be a new Z/28 with a high revving LT-based 427.
Of course, that ain’t happening, but I can dream.

I just noticed that! Wow lol

Yeah it would be great if they went with a high revving V8 for the Z/28. I can see it if it's a smaller displacement. Go back to the 5.0 like the old days.

The problem is the AFM lifters don’t stand up to high revs. Now since it’s not a volume seller they could probably get away with poor MPG, but I don’t think they’re going to develop a new engine for 1 car...

Sadly you’re probably right. But a dreamer can dream.

Have they officially unveiled the 2.0L turbo V6? GM Authority mentioned a test drive and C&D had something about it but I think full articles are embargo’d maybe?

They have sort of but this surely isn't that, sounds like a V8 with a side of whiiiiiiiiine!

Yeah and the Flowtie makes me think it could be a new Z/28 anyway.

Could be, I didn't notice it until G_Body_Man pointed it out. But I would hope a Z/28 was N/A.

LT4 Z/28? Wouldn’t surprise me.

ESP with epa standards for fuel consumption. They had to make the zo6/7 supercharged to make the power they wanted. I agree with you on this.
